Introduction
Interracial dating is getting a lot of popularity and is no longer something that is frowned upon by society as a whole, and is no longer taboo in today's society, as witnessed by the innumerable interracial dating service websites. While interracial dating is getting more and more mainstream, there are still various people who refuse to accept these relationships and those who may try to physically or emotionally hurt the couple.
Yet anyone who dares to question almost any form of interracial dating is immediately challenged, criticized and dismissed by the "PC police. In today's world, interracial dating is more often seen than before, but that doesn't mean that a nan or grandpa is going to embrace of such a union, they are from the kind of school and believe in dating your own kind!!
Black
Blacks (37%) are twice as likely as whites (17%) to have an immediate family member in an interracial marriage, while Hispanics (27%) fall in the center of those 2 groups. Black men in this country have always been fascinated by white ladies, at times almost engrossed, because of the forbidden-fruit principle.
Among younger men and women there is even wider acceptance of interracial dating: 94% of those born since 1977 say it is all right for blacks and whites to date. While it is tempting to constrict our view of interracial dating to the joining of a black person and a white person, it is authorized to recognize that this practice includes countless other cultures and colour lines. In Britain, 40 per cent of black men are wed to or living with a white woman, versus only 21 per cent of black women married to or living with a white man in the United States.
Asian
Asian includes so innumerable different groups that it comes close to being meaningless. Asians who live abroad are perhaps more liberal than their counterparts who still live in their country of birth. Ie, Asian women commonly love outside their race, as do black men, while it is rare that Asian men and black ladies love outside their race.
East Asians are seen as the most feminine, allowing for more dating choices for girls and fewer for men. In fact, I met a Chinese-American woman who once claimed that all non-Asians interested in East-Asian girls must have a fetish of some sort!!
Romance
Relationships should be based on mutual affection and love, not race. Interracial relationships have become more common over the past 10 years or so, but men and women still have comments to make when they see you out. At this point in human evolution and enlightenment, we should be long past prejudicial attitudes and antiquated ideas about interracial relationships. Opposition by family and friends can cause a terror of abandonment that is suffered by at least one member of the bi-racial union. If you are associated in an interracial relationship, you may feel pressure from both your own community and the community of your significant other. Many and various people respond to this pressure by trying to hide the union.
Conclusion
Today, nearly all African Americans (97%) believe that interracial dating is fine. It is my belief that interracial dating is a good thing. Online interracial dating is a great place to interact with other singles or couples that are also interested in pursuing an interracial relationship, romance or just wanting to love a person of a contrasting ethnicity.
