10 Powerful Reasons To Start A Mass Dating Campaign

We all know people who are burned out on dating. Perhaps you are one of them. Perhaps you have thrown yourself into the dating world more than once, looking for that Mr. or Ms. Right, only to come up empty handed and disappointed.

And so, the heck with dating, you say. If Mr. or Ms. Right is going to find me, he or she will have to find me in my life. And you are right. Dating, as it exists in our culture, be it Internet dating, personals, dating services, etc. rarely facilitates meeting Mr. or Ms. Right. And if it doesn't give you what you want, why bother, right?

Hold on to your seat, because I am about to tell you why you should run, not walk, to your nearest mass dating opportunity if you are ever to me meet Mr. or Ms. Right.

Let's have one of my clients tell you what she has learned from mass dating: " I have learned "how to read people." My intuition has really gotten much sharper from mass dating!!! This is another benefit from mass mating......I can learn quickly whether or not someone is good for me......eliminating dating people for extended periods of time and then dealing with a break up!!" -J

Let's start with saying that you will not be looking for Mr. or Ms. Right while dating. And yet, you will be doing some other extremely valuable things.
10 powerful reasons you should start a mass dating campaign, without the goal of finding Mr. or Ms. Right

1. See who you attract

One of the main reasons to do a lot of dating is to see who you attract. This is a great test of how close you are to meeting Mr. or Ms. Right. The people who will pick you out on a dating website or from an ad will remarkably resemble the types of people you will attract in a real life situation.

If you find you are attracting people who remind you of your past relationships or who are not a good match, take it as an opportunity to do some soul searching. Look into what in you is attracting incompatible mates.

2. See who you are attracted to

To engage in a lot of dating is a great way to figure out who you are attracted to. As you probably know, who you are attracted to initially is not necessarily someone who can build a good relationship with you. Mass dating allows you to discover patterns in your attraction, to see real live examples of your tendencies in relationships.

Are you drawn to people who are unavailable, or are you drawn to people who deeply want a relationship? If it is the former, delve deeply into what attracts you to people who are not available. In this exploration, you will find the key to attracting the kind of mate you crave.

3. Learn about yourself

Mass dating is a great arena to learn about yourself. There is no greater power than knowledge. Armed with knowledge, you can choose to change behavior that does not serve you or makes you feel comfortable.

Learn how you behave when you first meet someone. Learn how you behave on a date. Learn how much or how little you reveal about yourself. Learn whether you are more interesting or interested in the other person. Learn what happens when you are attracted to someone. Then, transform what you don't like and what does not serve you.

4. Get comfortable

Not everyone is comfortable with dating. In fact, most people are not comfortable, especially when they feel attracted to the person they are with. Mass dating is a great way to learn to get comfortable, which is a pretty important thing.

If you can be comfortable on a date, you can be keenly in touch with your feelings and can detect who you are on a date with. When calm, you can distinguish a person who wants a relationship from a person who will engage quickly and will burn out quickly.

5. Practice setting boundaries

Are you comfortable with gently setting boundaries? Are you comfortable saying yes or no to something, and feeling the conversation and the relationship can continue unharmed? Dating many people, many times, can train you to set boundaries in a firm yet gentle way.

Why are boundaries important? Boundaries show self-respect. Boundaries give you the safety to venture into a relationship and know you will take care of you no matter what. Date a lot, and practice setting boundaries without hurting or shocking people.

6. Disprove your beliefs

Here is a great way to use mass dating. Disprove what ever you believe about the opposite sex. Decide to attract, meet and date people who are opposite or different from what you believe most of the opposite sex to be.

So, if you believe most men cannot communicate deeply, decide to meet many men who yearn for deep, soulful conversations. And, if you believe most women have become hard and cutting, decide to meet many women who are gentle and loving.

If you do not meet people who disprove your beliefs, you are probably attached to the world being exactly how you think it is. Perhaps, it is time to consider some radical actions to break up your belief systems.

7. Get a sense of abundance of possibilities

Many singles, busy in their professional lives and with their friends and families, feel a deep sense of scarcity regarding meeting a compatible mate. Mass dating is great for this sort of thing.

When you get out there with the purpose of dating on a wide scale, you start to see many other singles, available and interested in a relationship. Over time, if you continue to date, you will feel a sense of abundance. By seeing abundance, you can start to trust again that you will meet your Mr. or Ms. Right.

8. Feel desirable

It's not hard to feel unwanted and undesirable when you are not spending much time with the opposite sex. And, feeling unwanted and undesirable dims your light, makes you less attractive, lowers your self-esteem, and perhaps even makes you want to hide. Not a great thing if you are ever to attract Mr. or Ms. Right.

If you get out there enough, you will attract many, many people who will be interested in dating you. A great tonic for feeling undesirable.

9. Expand your community

If you are to meet Mr. or Ms. Right, it is a good idea to widen your community. And, if you are growing and changing, upgrading your community to match the new you is a great idea as well.

Mass dating could be just the thing for expanding your community. Approach dating as a way to meet new people and form relationships, instead of a way to form THE relationship. Many great friendships, business leads and dating a friend of a friend have come out of mass dating.

10. Have fun

Dating is an adult playground. When you date, you go to nice places, listen to music, dance, go to plays, dinner, movies, etc. You engage in activities that most of us do not make much time for in our busy lives.

If you are feeling a lack of fun in your life, go out and start dating and playing. It will make your life satisfaction quotient go up, and in turn, will make you very attractive to Mr. or Ms. Right.

Where, Oh Where, Is My Soul Mate?

I doubt it would surprise you to know that one of the most consistent and profound questions I hear from clients in my metaphysical psychic practice has to do with romance. That was true 30 years ago and it will be true tomorrow.

"Is this person my soul mate," I am asked. "Will I ever find my soul mate in this lifetime?" The deep yearning each of us has to connect with the ideal partner is surely an important aspect of the human condition.

Clearly embedded in our psyche is the notion that there is ONE person on this planet that is truly meant for us. Our "one true love." If only we could discover that person, surely we could live together happily ever after and attain our innermost desires.

Probably NOT. At least not that effortlessly!

Romantic relationships are a primary classroom of life. We've been given custody of our life force for what we can LEARN. And almost universally, learning is NOT easy. It takes enormous spiritual growth to be able to come together with another human and LEARN happily ever after. It CAN be done and it is something each of us correctly aspires to do, but your own life experiences PROVE -- it does not spring from a chapter in a fairy tale novel!

Am I suggesting that we are wrong to seek that deeply satisfying connection with a beloved? I am not. But as growth-seeking adults, I am saying that we should learn the accurate PERSPECTIVE when it comes to romantic love.

The perspective is simple: We love in order to grow. Period.

Of course loving another is a Divinely Inspired Gift bountiful in its rewards and happiness. But ONLY if we understand the process in its proper perspective. When we don't understand or accept, things get terribly bollixed up.

Most who inquire about their "soul mate" are looking for a smooth, easy, conflict free relationship. A connection with that one person on the planet who magically creates within us total and complete fulfillment.

Someone who transports us into a coupling free of incompatibility, strive, struggle, turmoil and doubt. Our "other half" with whom we may enjoy the REWARDS of romantic connection without toil.

Does such a person exist for each of us? In my spiritual understanding, the answer is "YES, but."

As you probably guess, the "but" is the key. BUT WE NEVER ENCOUNTER SUCH A PERSON UNTIL we have EARNED it.

Until we have spiritually grown OURSELVES to the degree that the work left to be done in our lifetime is CONTRIBUTING TO OTHERS rather than working on ourselves. Then and ONLY then do we encounter this ever delightful romantic partner.

So you see, most of us are looking in the WRONG direction. We are busy looking OUTWARD for our "soul mate" when we really should be looking INWARD at what personal growth we have left to do!

In metaphysical thinking there are terms often used to describe the very special person we seek, soul mates, twin flames, twin souls, essence twins or spiritual twin.

Of those terms, metaphysical observation indicates there is a distinction between "soul mates" and the various "twin" terms.

Your "twin" is thought to have been created with the same soul essence as your own, at the beginning of time. You got half and your twin got half. Both of you have then been sent into various physical incarnations to learn and grow -- of course picking up individual (distinct from one another) karma from your choices along the way.

At some lifetime, it is thought that the two twins reunite in a romantic coupling and discover from one another their "mirror reflection." The experience of discovering your twin is as superlative as you can imagine. "Love at first sight" considerably understates the profound awareness and joy.

It is true that "twin flame" reunions create matings that are charmed with true unconditional love and significantly more bliss, but the fact that even twin relationships bring differing karma together, makes them challenging, too. Since the karma is not BETWEEN the twins, it is easier to deal with. To say these are "power couples" puts it mildly.

Twin flame relationships are extremely rare. In my observation I would say only 1% of the time or less!

Technically, soul mate relationships are different and much less "charmed." Sometimes I think the most challenging relationship anyone can have is with a soul mate. (We're talking romantic relationships but the soul mate connection can play out in many roles: parent/child, grandparent, sibling, even friend.)

You have lived many previous life-times with your soul mate. You feel familiar and comfortable with them. You have a great bond because you are working on a common mission together. There is high purpose and meaning in coupling with a soul mate but there is high challenge too. You may experience strong balancing karma as energies seek to "settle the score" from your previous lives together. Having been together many times, you have likely "settled" all the minor karma between you and are now working on the major issues. In my observation, I would say soul mate relationships seem to comprise about 30% to 40% of ALL relationships, romantic and otherwise.

At most that accounts for only 41% of romantic relationships, huh? What about the other 59%?

I would say most of the remaining relationships are "karmic connections", meaning people you've been with in one or more prior lifetimes. Perhaps you are together again to balance out some karma, have another attempt at learning a major lesson, accomplish things jointly or present myriad minor growth challenges to each other. Certainly you are together to learn from one another -- and it is rarely easy or altogether fun!

And on rare occasion, I think we connect with someone who is BRAND NEW to us. As if God gives us a clean slate, a breath of fresh air. Frankly such "virgin" relationships COULD be the easiest -- IF we make the right choices and create great karma together. I think we get that chance, maybe about 10% of the time.

That's a quick review of the spiritual underpinnings of romantic relationships. Just how these spiritual themes play out in your life in the "dating/mating game" is also fascinating and worth exploring another time.

Meanwhile, when you next pine for meeting your "soul mate," be careful what you wish for. And look around. S/he may well be right there -- under your KARMA!

Finding The Right Woman

The main two questions men must ask themselves before starting this process are:

1. What is my specific intention?

What is the need that you are trying to fulfill by seeking a new love? If you have a vague answer, you are courting disaster! Where we get into trouble in this process is when we meet a woman who captures our fancy and we blunder ahead with no direction, and no specific communication about a shared vision for the future.

2. How do I choose a healthy and suitable woman?

Once you get clarity about the type of relationship you desire, then the real hard work begins. To be successful in finding a healthy and suitable partner requires us to have full awareness of two separate mental and emotional abilities. First, there is emotional and physical attraction. We're generally quite good at that! But, men who find themselves in this condition, far too often aren't able to stay active with the second necessary ability---which is staying in touch with the rational and logical mind that can save our hearts and self-esteem from a painful disaster. By this I mean, men are biologically set up to fall for a woman so deeply and completely, that their hearts and certain other organs become tunnel-visioned and can't be in love and simultaneously have a reality check as to the woman's true character and long term potential.

Here's how I'd advise you to seek a new partner:

Develop the awareness and discipline to use both feelings and rationality simultaneously. For example, think of Pilot School. To pass Pilot School, you must master the two major skills--Take Off and Landing. If you feel a strong attraction for a woman, slow the process down to the extent that you can keep your rational mind in gear! Don't fall for a flight of fancy with a woman unless you really, really know that her character and suitability predict success for where you need the situation to end up.

By now, you might be feeling that this process is too cerebral and clinical. No way Jose'! Just look at the statistics of marriages in America, the fact that more than 1/2 of marriages end on the junk pile of divorce, and that so many kids get emotionally trashed in the process. My suggested process is designed to avoid the usual catastrophes and to lead you to the absolute "Best Game in Town"- which is a loving shared life with a good person with the necessary abilities and attributes for forever love. We do "Romance" far too freely and thoughtlessly in America. Most of our music, novels and movies have brainwashed us into expecting the impossible from Romance.

Some Guidelines For Seeking A Suitable Woman

1. Accept that it can easily take up to three months to make a clear determination of a woman's suitability as a long-range partner. Don't be afraid to keep the "Polka dots & Moonbeam" behavior under control during this period. This may sound callous or unrealistic, just bear in mind that your goal isn't to just fall in love but to find a long-term life love partner. Trust me on this, if you jump on the escalator of sexuality too soon, your brain may never get in gear until it's too late.

2. Be on the lookout on certain warning signs that will be tip offs predicting ultimate disaster for your relationship. Among these are: Any addictions- alcohol, nicotine, food, spending etc. **A good rule of thumb can be "Will this behavior reduce the quality of our relationship if it never improves. Don't take a woman on as a "fixer upper"--just take the attitude of "What I see might be what I'll ultimately get forever".

Closely observe the quality of her personal and family relationships. Look for a woman with a multitude of close healthy relationships. Moreover, watch her mother and sisters in action. If the family tradition is one of constant acting out, explosiveness or many cool emotional cut offs, then you have strong reason for worry.

Avoid "rebound" relationships. By this I mean if you or she have not totally ended and grieved the loss of their most recent relationship, you are headed for disaster. These relationships generally have the shelf life of an orchard! Never, Never, Never, go near a married woman who claims to be separated and waiting for her husband to agree to the divorce. There is a necessary post divorce period that must be gone through. A rule of thumb says that it must be a minimum of one month for every year that they were a couple.

Beyond that, if the woman has children, you must find out whether your couple can "stay in love" with another guys potentially disruptive kid causing friction between you and your lady. Don't minimize the strong negative impact that some step-children can cause. This can be worsened if your partner's ex is a moron or remarries a trouble-making flake. Talk about cerebral succotash!

Stay close to home and with your equals. History has shown that many similarities improve a couple's chances for success.

Don't go out with women that you feel are real low priority. Don't do it out of emptiness or to just bide your time until someone better comes along. Finally, please forgive this final analogy, because I know it might seem crass. But imagine that God came to you and said that he had decided that you would be allowed to choose and have only one used car that had to last for the rest of your life! Just imagine how careful you'd be in making your choice. You'd check out each car's history, reputation, potential longevity etc. So, why don't we take such care in choosing a potential life partner? See the point. You deserve a healthy and emotionally balanced partner. This is especially true if you hope to have children! You and your spouse will be role models for the children. You'll be teaching 2 Major Subjects within the school of your home: Intimacy 101 and Self Esteem 101. Not only for your own sake but for your potential kid's sake, do the required work to find a healthy partner for the long haul. In my opinion, there is nothing more worthy as two well meaning people building a healthy life together and inspiring their kids to grow up and do the same thing.

Rethinking the Odds of Marriage Over 40

Oh sure. I remember the article well. In 1986 when Newsweek published "The Marriage Crunch" article which stated, in short that:

"white, college-educated women who failed to marry in their 20s faced abysmal odds of ever tying the knot."

To further quote, "According to the research, a woman who remained single at 30 had only a 20 percent chance of ever marrying. By 35, the probability dropped to 5 percent. In the story's most infamous line, Newsweek reported that a 40-year-old single woman was "more likely to be killed by a terrorist" than to ever marry."

I was 19 then and seemed to know even then that I'd marry later in life. It wasn't that I didn't believe in marriage, it was just that... I knew there were so many things in life I wanted to do first. Like:

  • meet friends that I didn't go to high school with
  • see how far working hard in corporate American would get me
  • figure out my past as a child of an alcoholic enough to never repeat the same path
  • find out which kind of people were really my friends
  • understand why I could never relax
  • embrace my nerdy, geeky personality
  • write a book
  • become confident
  • understand what love really is
  • grow up
  • get a clue

Silly me. Other people around me seemed to know I'd marry later, also. They'd constantly ask me about my boyfriends, if I had them or didn't, instead of what I was doing with my life. My biggest joke at the time was that if I had won the Pulitzer Prize my grandma would probably nod for a moment and then ask, "So do you have a boyfriend yet, Cherie?"

Well of course I had boyfriends. I dated lots of the wrong guys over the years. Dating was kind of an adventure for me. But I never was in a place in my life where I thought "this is it" and knew I was going to get married. I've heard it said that you have to meet the right person at the right time in your life. My husband and I would agree on this one. Both of us, in looking back at how many places we had potentially had the chance to meet over the years, realized we'd probably bumped into each other several times. We realized after we got married that we were even both at the same exact spot years ago, and in all likelihood met and even spoke to one another, when he was only 18 and still in high school.

And yet, why didn't we really "meet"? Why didn't we date then and fall in love? We both continued to date the wrong people over the years, and even as we tried to hold on to these not-good-for-us relationships, we knew there was probably someone "out there" who was going to be right for us. One day.

Dating the wrong people can be exceptionally helpful once you meet the right one. My husband was amazed at how "normal" our relationship was and continues to be. He didn't think this was possible given the women he dated and knew.

As soon as I met my husband I felt like I could be completely myself. Not an easy thing for women. We always feel we need to hold up a front, not act too independent or come off too needy. With my husband, I didn't feel any of these things. I didn't need to. I was completely myself and felt an acceptance that I didn't feel with other people.

We continued to hang out at the same places over the years... and yet we'd never actually met. Or had we? Perhaps we'd smiled and had small talk at some local bar... stood next to each other at a concert... or sat side by side in a bookstore... without even knowing it.

Do I look back and wish I'd met my husband the very first time I probably bumped into him?

No.

I doubt things would have worked out the same for us. We both had "miles and miles to go" before we were finally in the right place in our lives to meet.

As women we work hard to be the very best at everything we do and we're told anything is possible. So if we don't have the marriage or the kids or the career at the exact moment as everyone else, we have society and newspapers and even other women telling us to hurry up! What are we waiting for!

And perhaps that's the lesson we learn from the 1986 Newsweek article. You can't put "odds" on when you'll meet and marry your soul mate because the path will be different for us all. Perhaps it's a matter of faith, and of trusting your life to something bigger than you.

So if you're a 20-something gal reading this right now and are asked about when you are ever going to marry.... simply answer that you'll do it when and if the time is right. And then go about your life... and LIVE.

Dating Tips for Workaholics

When I first began Internet dating, I was a marketing director for one of Milwaukee's largest construction firms, I went to school full-time, and I was working on publishing a book of poetry. And yet, I wondered, why hadn't I met the right person yet? It never dawned on me that my crazy, frenetic schedule could possibly be the reason.

I approached Internet dating like another work project. Soon I was emailing and meeting new guys on a very frequent basis. Of course, I always met them somewhere convenient and quick, a coffee shop as my favorite place. I could pop in, chat for an hour (which was always my personal rule) and then be on my way. It was merely another meeting I mentally checked off my ever-growing list of to-do's.

And sure, the occasional guy would gripe because I'd have to reschedule our dates... and reschedule... and then sometimes, cancel. But hey, I figured, if he can't understand that I'm a busy girl with a life of my own then he wasn't worth his salt. Right?

It wasn't until I had met one man via email, who was slightly older than me, with kids and a business he started up and had recently expanded. He sounded smart and interesting and I was intrigued by his emails. Finally the day came when we agreed to meet. I scheduled the date on my calendar for the next week, but as the date approached I realized there was no way I'd be able to make the time and called him to cancel. He was gracious and we continued to talk on the phone, each time I was anxious to get him off the line because I figured I'd have time to get to know him once we met. We scheduled another date and I had to cancel that was as well - a last minute proposal had popped up at my desk courtesy of my unable-to-please boss.

I'm ashamed to say I rescheduled our date three more times. Then finally, finally a couple weeks later I met him right before Christmas. I had taken the day off work but was going in to "catch up" on last minute paperwork. I agreed to meet him for a quick cup of coffee on my way in.

He was handsome and funny and I liked him immediately. Then he said something that made me stop in my tracks, the needle loudly screeching off the soundtrack of my busy life.

It was said in an amusing, not condescending or rude, way. No doubt my mouth hung open as I said, "Huh?"

Perhaps from his own experience, he said, "You my dear, are a workaholic."

I tried to tell him, it wasn't me, it was my stupid job... but he shook his head, instead challenging me to go out with him on a real date as soon as Christmas was over and then not change or cancel. He left it with me.

Try and I might, I never really found the time, and when a month had passed, I was too embarrassed to call him. I got his point, however, and wondered how many times I'd given this same runaround to other men. I saw my life in a different light, and vowed to change my ways.

As it happened, that change was made for me as I was abruptly let go from my job.

I found it ironic that the job I'd given so much energy to (not to mention 60-plus hours a week) would discard me so easily. And when I looked my life I saw I had nothing left. I continued going to school, and spent some time working on my book. But there was a change in me. I took things at a slower pace.

I continued Internet dating and this time approached it with more patience. Three weeks later I went on a date with a man that was running late. He called me to let me know and instead of just canceling or rescheduling I hung out and drank my tea and relaxed while I waited. As if by fate, my original date, the one who'd claimed me the workaholic, popped in.

He laughed when he saw me, asked "how's the busy lady today?" and when I told him I lost my job he shook his head. I told him "I'm much different now" than when we went out and he looked at me a long moment before concluding that he believed that. He left just before my new date, Andy, showed up, and instead of my "hour and out" rule I stayed for three. We chatted, and in short, I married Andy a year later.

Would I have still met and married my husband if I'd had been the crazy workaholic girl from before? I doubt it. So for all you guys and gals that live with the die at your desk mentality, take note:

1) First Determine If You Are a Workaholic

Any kind of "aholic" works to fill an inner-need by filling it up with something else, and the first step is admitting you have a problem. If you are truly a workaholic you're probably putting aside your friends and potential mates in favor of work. Or, have you simply fallen into a pattern of working long hours? Did you wind up with a demanding boss and equally demanding clients and can't find enough hours in the day to satisfy them? Or are you working towards a promotion, and once you get it you'll be able to slow down? Or maybe you just like being busy. Once you determine the root of the issue you can work to correct it. If you feel like your boss doesn't understand maybe you'll have to get a new job. Or maybe you just need to learn to say "no" once in a while.

2) It's All About Priorities

I've heard it said that when someone tells you they are too busy to call, they are really telling you they don't have a priority to call you. As harsh as that may seem, it rings true as we get older and our lives become busier. Maybe you really don't need to work the hours you do, but you find it a good excuse to put off potential dates. If you don't want to meet a particular date, do you use work as your standby excuse? Do you find that you really do have time to do certain things and not others? Sure, work emergencies come up, but you need to realize that you are in control of your life. Not your boss.

3) Make Sure Your Attention Is On Your Date When You're With Them

Even if you have a demanding job, you're going to have to learn to balance your work and home life. And if you don't get this concept down, you won't have a home life to balance. So when you are with your date, pay attention. Listen. Acknowledge things they say and respond to them. Use the time you are with them to truly get to know them, instead of thinking of what you have to do back at work. Turn off that super-busy switch in your head and relax so they can get to know the real you. When you are at the office, take time during the day to email them and let them know you are thinking of them. Call them. In short, communicate. Yes, it will take effort on your part but all relationships do. And it's worth it.

4) Take Some Tips From Your Married Cohorts

If you're single you've probably noticed that sometimes married folks have a better deal when it comes to business emergencies. If a project required working late, my married coworkers would have real, honest-to-goodness obligations - picking up their kids from daycare, have to put dinner on, etc. Inevitably I would have to work late while I watched them leave on time each day. Was it fair? The married folks would probably say yes, but consider this - is your life less important? It can be hard to tell employers no when you don't have to pick up kids from childcare but just really need to get home and do wash. But don't be afraid to say no. You don't need to give an explanation, you can simply say, "I'm not available." Your time is just as valuable as the next person's.

5) Start Developing Your Life Outside of Work

If the majority of your friends are at work, you need to get out. (This goes double if the majority of your ex's are people you've met at the office.) Spend some time engaging in your hobbies (or finding some, if you've really been cooped up at the office.) Hanging out with non-work folks will broaden your horizons and help you to converse about things other than work. Don't you hate it when someone drones on and on about their job and can't talk about anything else? You might even meet someone cute and fun that you'll end up dating.

Understand How You Can Make Love Happen - Even Get A New Date!

Positive thinking is tiring and mentally exhausting if used incorrectly. If you are a positive thinker it doesn't mean life will be all perfect and smooth for you every single moment. Be a master of love by being able to summon the right thoughts and trigger the right feelings during that particular moment in life and in your relationship when you need it!

The "Secret" to success and love is to understand how the Universe works and how we can be " In Tune with the Infinite" and understand "How to flow" to the "Highest and Best".

Think of life as a "River" If you are flowing along and get blocked or stuck then you have gone in a direction that is counter to the movement of the flow.

You are like a "great oarsman" who steers your own ship in the sea of life to your Ultimate Destiny. You are the "Captain of Your Soul" and "Master of Your Fate". You job is to turn your "Dreams into Reality" and be one with your " Highest and Best Soulmate". As you flow with the "River of Life" you will be guided at all times to what is "highest and best" for you.

So if you encounter a block or a rejection then that is a "Message from the Great Universal Master Dream Machine" that you are to proceed differently or to pursue another person or direction.

Excellent salesmen, business people and those looking to create the life and relationships of their dreams when following divine guidance go through life experiencing rejections and reluctance, procrastination, frustration and disappointments every now and then but still achieve the results they want. Why? Because they know how to read the feedback and signs from their Soul and Universe.

You Divine Guidance from your Soul and the Universe speak to you in many ways. A block, or negative feeling, resistance or lack of comfort or energy are all just messages.

It would be nice if the Universe sent you an email or said in a clear voice "Hey this person isn't highest and best for you" or "Hey you need to learn better skills here". We don't always have a direct Auditory connection although some of us have easier and faster access to the "wee small voice" and "whispers of wisdom" from the Universe.

Those that succeed in Love and Life have developed the habit of thinking the right thoughts, asking the right questions within themselves, developing new ways of responding to the objections they get, and triggering that feelings which will serve them.

It's all about developing a Relationship with the Universe. It communicates with you in many ways. We have at least 4 Internal Channels that the Universe gives you direction through Intuitive Guidance. There are also several external ways the Universe gives you clear signs and directions for you " Highest and Best Good".

So, whether you are dating or already in a committed relationship, understand that you are bound to go through periods of times when there will be disagreements, disappointments, confusion, arguments, and quarrels.

Be a master of love by learning to snap out of these seemingly unhappy and energy-draining situations as quick as lava would flow out of a volcano. If you keep failing at getting your first date, or even having difficulty getting more dates after the first one, look at and understand the Bigger Picture. And welcome objections. This is the only way your partner can make it known to you what exactly he/she likes or doesn't like about you, SO you can improve on yourself!

Keep in mind that unconditional love is given without any expectations, limitations or any other definitions. In other words when you love someone unconditionally you do so without expectations that the sentiment will be returned, without placing restrictions or conditions under which the love will be expressed and without establishing defining parameters for when, where or why the love is felt or expressed. There are many examples of relationships where the love is unconditional. The love between romantic partners, parent and child, siblings and even friends can all be examples of unconditional love. The most important factors of unconditional love are that it is completely free of restrictions or expectations.

Top 5 Tips for Spotting Marriage Material This Christmas

Decking the halls alone this Christmas? Never fear! Single men ABOUND at the holidays - and, like you, they're looking for someone with whom to share the yuletide spirit.

You'd never guess it, but the holidays are one of the best times of year to be dating. Santa's wish list is chockfull of singles asking for Mr. or Miss Right. Even the most committed bachelor or bachelorette will be hard pressed to avoid thoughts of family with so many rosy-cheeked urchins underfoot. An active social calendar ensures that you'll bump into other singles. And there's just something about the holiday spirit (perhaps it's the mistletoe) that makes confessing your interest in Mr. Hottie as easy as pie.

So where can you find your dream man this holiday season? Here are 5 Tips for Spotting Marriage Material This Christmas.

1. Innocently discover yourself standing under the mistletoe - but not before you check who's standing there first.

2. Spare some sympathy for the bewildered Mr. Handsome standing helplessly in the middle of the very large, VERY crowded department store. Whisper conspiratorially, "It makes me want to give up and go get a coffee, too." If he confesses that he's looking for a present for his girlfriend/wife/partner, smile nicely and direct him to the customer service desk.

3. Dance with everyone, even old Uncle Fred. You never know who is watching you.

4. Show your civic spirit by attending your local Christmas Tree Lighting, Santa Parade, or Carols in the Park. Wear your cutest cap and brightest scarf and wink at any guy who catches your eye.

5. Volunteer at your local soup kitchen or homeless shelter on Christmas Day. Not only is there extra need for volunteers during this time of year, but you're more likely to meet other single, caring people who aren't tied to their families on this special day.

And last but not least...
